Purpose:
This class introduces the story of God’s people, the characteristics that define the church, the distinctives that make us Baptists, and our mission together. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the universal and local church and why it is significant for our life together.

Each week, there will be an introduction to new terms and a demonstration of how this Christian Doctrine develops through Christian Scripture, and why it matters for Christian Practice and Wisdom.

Overview:
This Core Class is one of our Community Life classes on Christian Doctrine, which emphasizes essential doctrines for disciples of Jesus Christ.
