What Makes Us Different

Meaningful Membership

One of our most distinctive characteristics is our commitment to meaningful membership. We are very serious about our responsibility to care for and equip every member of our church for Hebrews 13:17 indicates that we will give an account for their souls. This is why every member is in a community group where we take responsibility for one another’s spiritual development and wellbeing. Email Kevin to find out about our Connection Group and begin your first steps toward membership at Norris Ferry.

Equipping Pathway

We have developed the Equipping Pathway to disciple men and women and equip them for ministry and multiplication. See the Equipping Pathway below to find out more and get involved here at Norris Ferry.

Multiply ’25

We believe God has called us for a unique purpose and vision in spreading glory of God for the good of Shreveport through a healthy church (re)planting movement. Click here to find out more and how to take part in this movement of God.

Our History

In April of 2006, God called Tracy and his wife, Danna, to lead their family and four other families to start a new church focused on bringing Christ-centered community and worship to the Norris Ferry Community of southeast Shreveport.

They had the generous support of their home church, Broadmoor Baptist Church, and a long-term vision of transforming the entire city of Shreveport by multiplying into a healthy church-planting movement. God has been tremendously faithful to Norris Ferry over the years and has blessed them with much spiritual and numerical growth. They have had the privilege of planting a church in New Orleans, LA and several churches in South Sudan, Africa; but,
now is the time to start making their long-term vision become reality with “Multiply ’25”.

Equipping Pathway

In order to multiply healthy churches with healthy leadership we must continually be maturing as a church family and equipping our members for ministry. We have developed the Equipping Pathway to disciple men and women and equip them for ministry and multiplication.
