Many of life’s fundamental building blocks are established during the early years of childhood. We strive to teach children and equip parents with the tools needed to build a life founded on Christ. NFKids provides families with opportunities for kids to learn and grow within the church community and within their home.
NFKids Schedule
Sunday Morning
Core Class at 9:45
During kids’ core class, we expose children to the Gospel as seen throughout Scripture, so they develop a spiritual foundation based on solid biblical truths. Classes are available for children from birth through 5th grade.
Congregational Worship at 8:30 and 11:00
We believe in the value of family worship. There is no better way for children to learn worship than to watch parents and other adults worshipping in Spirit and Truth. We encourage families with children of all ages to participate together in Sunday morning worship.
Kids SHINE
4:00 – 6:00pm
Kids SHINE coincides with spring and fall adult Connection Groups (6 week spring session and 6 week fall session on Sunday afternoons). During each of our six-week sessions of Kids SHINE, students from PK4 through 5th grade spend time focusing and learning different spiritual disciplines. It is an action-packed time as kids learn from God’s Word through a variety of fun and games.
NFKids+
6:30 – 8:30pm (Last Wednesday of every month)
NFKids+ is a place for 4th and 5th graders to grow in their love of the Lord and lead others to do the same. Our monthly gatherings include food, fun, games, bible study, and leadership planning.
Milestone Map
By God’s design, children learn first from their parents and then from others. Knowing this, we believe that parents are the primary source of gospel training for their children. It is our goal to come alongside families to provide support and foundational teaching for parents to feel equipped to disciple their children. We have designed a Milestone Map as a way to recognize important discipleship opportunities throughout a child’s life and to train parents on how they can disciple their child at each milestone.
Security
All children who attend NFCC classes are asked to check-in at one of our children’s check-in stations. There, the child is provided a name tag and the parents are provided a coordinating pick-up ticket to ensure proper dismissal after class. If you are a first time guest, one of our friendly volunteers will be happy to help you with this process.
All classroom teachers and workers who serve on our children’s service team have been carefully screened and are committed to the safety and welfare of your child. They are trained to follow our procedures to ensure your child’s safety.
We are committed to providing excellent children’s ministry for all!
NFKids wants to serve children with special needs. Families can trust that their child will be safe and loved when they are in our care.
